Pure Pearl Foundation works with girls, women and schools in three counties on the Kenyan coast. School fees, business training, water points and tree nurseries, run together with the communities that asked for them.

We began in 2010 by paying school fees for twelve girls in Likoni. Today we run education, enterprise and environment programmes in Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale, and are preparing our first work in Northern Kenya.
The same field teams run all three in the same wards, so a girl in school, her mother’s business and the water point they share all improve together.
Every girl deserves a seat in the classroom and a future without limits. Across Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale we build schools, train teachers, provide scholarships, and fight the barriers that keep girls out of education.

Providing tablets, internet access, and trained teachers to 40 schools across Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale, ensuring every girl can thrive in the digital age.
Establishing co-working spaces and mentorship programmes for 150 women entrepreneurs across Mombasa’s estates and peri-urban wards, fueling economic independence.
Women-led reforestation project placing 50,000 trees across degraded land and mangrove sites in Kwale, combining environmental restoration with female leadership development.
