We believe education is a basic human right. By investing in girl-child education, we can break the poverty cycle. Not only that, but also we can promote human rights. But if we fail to educate and empower women, our society perpetuates a cycle of poverty and inequality.
PPF nurtures the girl child aspirations through education and mentorship programs. The Beneficiaries are women and children coming from marginalized backgrounds. Our PPF Sponsorship Program has benefited underprivileged girls denied educational opportunities. So far, we’ve enabled 25 vulnerable girls to go to school, where we’ve sponsored them with learning materials.
Our Approach
Pure Pearl Foundation (PPF) focuses on supporting young people and women through various programs. These programs aim to teach skills like entrepreneurship, vocational training, and financial literacy. PPF also offers mentorship sessions and workshops to help with mental health and support young girls and teenage mothers.
Some of the programs include:
- SPEAK initiative: This program empowers girls to articulate their thoughts with confidence and engage effectively in debate competitions focused on global issues and finding solutions.
- Pearl Program: This program empowers young girls with life skills and mental wellness. The program offers career mapping to help vulnerable girls identify the right careers. It has three parts: Pearl Mentorship Program for kids, Pearl Mentorship Program for teens, and Pearl Mentorship Program for young adults.
- This program focuses on educating young girls in rural schools on menstrual hygiene. Under this program, PPF distributes sanitary towels/pads. It also offers life skill lessons and psychosocial support
